The 2-Wheel and VLC Bike’s events are back on the calendar in a 100% face-to-face format, coinciding with the Motorcycle World Championship and at a sweet moment for the two-wheel sector.
València, June 15, 2021.- The Valencia Motorcycle and Bike Show is back. Feria Valencia will host from November 12 to 14 a new edition of the 2 Wheels and VLC Bike’s contests after the impossibility that they could be held last year due to the restrictions of the pandemic.
Now, with a more stable outlook, the normalization of the fair calendar and, above all, the excellent situation that the two-wheel sector is going through, the Organized Committee of the Show – chaired by the commercial director of Ducati Motocorse, José Luis Terranegra – has given the green light to this year’s programming in response to the demand both from the sector itself and, above all, from the thousands of fans who attend the event each year.
Both appointments return in a 100% face-to-face format and in accordance with the regulations that are present next November. In this sense, it must be taken into account that Feria Valencia has a strict anti-Covid protocol that fully guarantees the safety of both exhibitors and visitors, as has been demonstrated in the face-to-face calls that have already been held at the fairgrounds of Benimàmet.
In addition, 2 Wheels and VLC Bike’s will repeat the formula for the success of their combination with the Motorcycle Grand Prix, the last round of the World Championship, which will be held at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana de Cheste and which this year will also be held with the public in the steps.
New pavilions
One of the great novelties of the next edition of 2 Wheels and VLC Bike’s will be the celebration of both events in two pavilions of Level 2 of Feria Valencia after being held in the last editions in Hall 7. With this, the Motorcycle Show and the Bike guarantee maximum comfort and access for the visitor, who will access comfortably through the Feria Valencia Center Forum, and will also facilitate the availability of covered and free parking for all fans who come with their motorbike to the fair.
Excellent moment for the two-wheel market
The Show returns this year at an unbeatable situation for both the motorcycle and bike sectors. The new mobility habits motivated by the pandemic have caused a real ‘boom’ in the two-wheel market. Thus, in the case of motorcycles and according to the latest ANESDOOR statistics, in the first five months of the year a total of 6,395 motorcycles were registered in the Valencian Community, which represents 58.7% more than the same period of the year. last year. In the case of mopeds, the increase is 77.5% to 898 units.
For its part, the bicycle is also registering record figures. According to the study carried out by AMBE and Cofidis, in 2020, more than 1.5 million bicycles were sold in Spain, an increase of 24.10% compared to the previous year. The most popular bicycle model is still the mountain bike, but the greatest increases have been registered in electric models (+ 48.9%) and urban (+ 46.4%).
A fully consolidated Hall
Both 2 Wheels and VLC Bike’s are two fully consolidated events in the sector’s national fair scene and recognized as a direct business and sales platform both by the brands themselves and by the exhibiting dealers. In its last edition of 2019, the Show beat its own number of attendees with more than 19,000 registered visitors, which was 12% more than the previous edition. The event welcomed the offer of 133 brands and motorcycle and bike brands, in a showcase of more than 20,000 square meters of exhibition space.
