- Event launches with additional pavilion to cater for growing demand from ceramic tile and bathroom equipment manufacturers
- Upcoming edition set to take place from 28th January to 1st February 2019, in parallel with Espacio Cocina-SICI show
Cevisama has launched the official marketing campaign for its forthcoming edition, which is set to run from 28th January to 1st February 2019. Having exceeded 800 exhibitors and 90,500 trade visitors last year the Feria Valencia-based event is looking ahead to a fresh edition that will offer even more exhibition space.
It will in fact offer a total of nine pavilions as the growing demand from companies in the ceramic tile and bathroom equipment industry means that the sector will also occupy pavilion N2 P6, which has its own direct entrance from the venue’s North Forum and is located next to the rest of the Cevisama showcase: pavilions 1, 2, 3 and 4 on levels 2 and 3.
Ceramic floor and wall coverings; frits, glazes and colours for ceramic tiles; bathroom equipment; fixing materials and tools for installing floor and wall tiles will all be on display, together with natural stone, at Cevisama 2019, an edition the organisers hope will bolster the sustained growth and enhanced international positioning the fair has achieved in recent years.
Also taking place at the same time as this next edition of Cevisama at Feria Valencia is the Espacio Cocina-SICI show, Spain’s foremost kitchen furniture and equipment event. Complementing Cevisama and sharing routes to market and visitor profiles with the tile fair, Espacio Cocina-SICI will be an additional reason for people to visit.
As was agreed during the latest meeting of Cevisama’s organizing committee, developing the fair’s international profile in terms of both supply and demand will continue to be central to its strategy. It has to this end already set ambitious promotional campaigns in motion in Spain and the main foreign markets – essentially Europe, the United States and Canada, plus Eastern Europe and Russia, the Middle East and North Africa.
Cevisama is in the process of closing deals with the major associations of distributors in a number of countries, designed to ensure that they attend the fair. It is also negotiating with associations of interior designers, architects and planners, a profile of visitors linked to the Contract sector, which is increasingly important for manufacturers of ceramic tiles and bathrooms.
“Cevisama 2019 is set to be an historic edition as it will mark the fair’s consolidation as a global leader and, from what we have sensed since the end of last year’s show, we are convinced that we will see significant growth in ceramic tiles, bathrooms and natural stone. We need to give it everything we can from now on to ensure the aisles are full of distributors and specifiers – this is our commitment to our exhibitors,” says Cevisama’s director Manuel Rubert.
