The Feria Valencia Conv. & Exh. Centre hosted the first day of Kliquers, a pioneer project aimed for young people in order to complement the education they receive in the classroom. The event, the Foundation Mahou San Miguel and the Foundation ‘ Lo que la verdad importa’, has managed to gather at the Feria Valencia to 750 students in secondary education from 13 schools in the Region of Valencia, both public and private.
Under the motto “Think, feel, act” this initiative seeks to awaken the motivation among teenagers in an attractive and dynamic way. The World Champion of Water Polo and coach, Pedro García Aguado, starred in the meeting and talked about many of the issues that most concern teenagers, in order to equip them with tools to be able to make their own decisions. He also shared his testimony of self-improvement to young people.
The session, which has successfully completed the capacity of the Auditorium 1A of the Convention & Exhibition Centre, was also attended by Miriam Fernández, singer and national winner of the talent show “The X Factor”. The singer, through her testimony, has shared with students how to overcome bullying and have been offered tips to overcome fear.
