Innovation and sustainability are standout features of Hygienalia 2023 in ‘Green Line’ and ‘Red Line’ themed areas

Cleaning tools made with recycled plastic, cleaning solutions that eliminate static electricity, 100% recyclable refuse sacks, circular economy SCRAP systems and an innovative coworking space for the industry are the standout features along the route to sustainability and innovation that Hygienalia 2023 will be setting out for visitors.

Valencia, 9th October 2023.- Hygienalia, Spain’s foremost event for the professional cleaning and hygiene industry, is putting the finishing touches to its sixth edition, set to take place from 7th to 9th this coming November in Hall 3 at Madrid’s IFEMA exhibition centre.

The standout features of the products on show will be sustainability and innovation, exemplified particularly in two themed areas Hygienalia is dedicating specifically to environmental friendliness on the one hand – the Green Line – and to innovation in the development of solutions for the industry on the other – the Red Line.

In both instances visitors will be able to follow a ‘route’ that takes them to every stand in that section of the fair, with exhibitors displaying their products in the ‘Green Section’ or the ‘Red Section’ as appropriate. These themed sections will be set up in a prominent area, within the commercial exhibition, dedicated specifically to sustainability and innovation.

Hygienalia’s ‘green’ commitment

Sustainability has been the backdrop, as it were, to Hygienalia since its inception, with the fair boosting its own and of its exhibitors’ commitment to developing ever more environmentally friendly products and services.

The 2023 edition of the fair will again., therefore, be featuring the Green Line gallery, where companies can display their greenest propositions easily whilst putting them in the spotlight at the same time.

When walking the ‘Green Line’, professionals visiting Hygienalia 2023 will discover products that are markedly environmentally friendly, such as Lytec’s range of buckets, vacuum cleaners and cleaning carts made with as much as 97% recycled plastic.

Other outstanding environmentally centred propositions include the Punto Greta SCRAP system (Manufacturer’s Extended Collective Responsibility System), an initiative – part of the Greta Ecosystem – that includes more than 100 members and offers an innovative solution to complying with environmental regulations and promoting a circular economy.

The sustainable environmental solutions offering also includes a new line of 100% recycled refuse sacks from manufacturer Interval that are highly versatile, come in different sizes and are for both domestic and industrial use.

Red-hot innovation

Hygienalia’s ‘Red Line’ proposition, for its part, enables exhibitors to highlight their innovations and gain even more value from taking part in the fair. The major feature of the products on show here is that they are all highly innovative in how they deliver solutions for the industrial cleaning and hygiene sector.

One example is Valencia-based manufacturer Sanis. Its ‘SANIS Chemistry Coworking service is unique in the market in that it offers a shared space for testing, trialling, manufacturing and packing in sectors such as cosmetics, antiseptics, biocides, detergents and food additives.

Manufacturer Prominent Chemical will be using the ‘Red Line’ to reveal its innovative line of cleaning products, including one that removes oxide from clothes, a new anti-slip floor treatment and a neutral cleaning solution that can eliminate static electricity.

Hygienalia 2023 is staged by Feria Valencia and promoted by ASFEL, the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Cleaning and Hygiene Products, and AEFIMIL, the Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Importers of Industrial and Cleaning Machinery. 109 companies and brands exhibited at the last edition of Hygienalia  and 6005 professionals visited from 35 countries, from sectors including hospitality, food manufacturing, facility services, the health sector, the pharmaceutical industry, service stations and public facilities.
